Most companies keep the raw files and charge for every change. Vourly hands you all of the raw footage, so you are never locked into one editor. You can make unlimited edits yourself, pass the files to your own team, or send them back to us for hourly work, whichever is cheapest for the job.

How to keep revisions low
The first cut lands closest when everyone aligns before the camera rolls. Share a short shot list and one or two reference videos when you book your shoot so the editor knows the look and pacing you want. Flagging your must-have shots and the platform the video is for up front removes most of the guesswork, which means the included round usually covers it. For recurring needs, hourly editing keeps the cost predictable month to month.
Contracts, minimums, and ongoing work
A standard hourly or per-shoot booking needs no long-term contract or retainer. The only requirement is a two-hour shoot minimum, and travel is free within 30 miles, then $50 plus $1 per mile (see the travel fee). Larger or ongoing projects can move to a monthly retainer or a written contract if that fits your workflow better.
